Award for the C Grade member who over the year, consistently displays a willingness to try something different, in either prints or slides. Only awarded if appropriate.
Swanson Trophy. C or M

Awarded to a member under the age of 25 at the beginning of the year who has excelled photographically, and that this criteria will remain in place until altered by the Committee
Ned Browne Trophy C or M

An award for the most successful CPS exhibitor in national competitions in prints and/or slides.
Ron Willems Trophy. C & M

Award for the lady C grade member whose work shows the greatest advance during the year in either slides or prints.
Neptune Ladies Cup. C or M

Award for the lady who gains most points in all slide Competitions, except C grade.
Radcliffe-Taylor Challenge Cup. C or M

Trophy awarded for service to C.P.S. and photography in general.
C.P.S. 1990 Convention Committee Award.

Unless there is a very clear recorded ruling from the donor, the Christchurch Photographic Society should from time to time make necessary changes to Trophy descriptions to keep up with changing technology.

Note: In the event of a new or special competition (e.g. set subject) being introduced during the course of the year they will not gain points for either the Isabel E. Walmsley, ARPS, Memorial Trophy or the Possibilities Cup.
