Cameras I use: Canon EOS 50E, Nikon D70, Pentax Optio 3.2
My favourite lens is my telephoto.
I have always enjoyed photographing ever since I can remember. In later years (since 1995) I became more interested in pursuing photography at a more serious level along with idea of becoming a journalist.
I completed a Photojournalism course tutored by Dave Wethy accompanied by various courses with Richard Poole and Peter Harper.
I was invited to cover photography for Canta (student newspaper at Canterbury University), which opened doors for me where I went on to cover national/international rugby games at Lancaster Park, New Zealand University Games, Children's Millennium Games 2000, Maori Events, Weddings, Festival of Romance, Flowers & Romance Festival(with my husband) and so on it went.
I enjoy photography more as a hobby, not so much photographing to make a living even though it is nice to earn money from what you enjoy doing.
I love photographing people in their environment where I can capture their personality. In the past few years I have been enjoying shooting landscapes.
I am at a place where I can choose what I do with my photography and just enjoy where I am at.
